Over on The Chick Lit Cookbook tumblr, I’ve been using The Chick Lit Cookbook to write my own chick lit. My novel is about an archaeology student named Malena who solves an archaeological mystery about cave art and falls in love. Right now, this insane project is called CAVE ART, but Godwilling I will come up with a more suitable title by the time I am done.
So far, this project has kept me accountable–I’m up to Chapter 9 in the cookbook, I’ve written 1.5 chapters, and outlined the entire thing. I’m posting the chapters as I write them here, and you can follow along my progress on chicklitcookbook.tumblr.com if you’re interested.
